Compassionate Listening / Meditation Groups
Second and fourth Thursdays at 12:30 pm, and fourth Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
Compassionate listening groups meet for time together in song, meditation, and active listening. We simply listen to one another’s joys, sorrows, struggles and questions without judgment, the urge to fix things or the need to offer answers or advice. For the listeners the path is opened to understanding, which leads to compassion, which leads to love, which leads to peace. Those who speak are offered the space to be truly known to others and held in love. We meet in the chancel area of the sanctuary. Project Nights
Third Fridays of the month, 4-6 p.m.
All are welcome to join as we work together in the Hearth Room. Bring your own projects (charity or not, needlework or other) and join us for a relaxing evening with old or new friends. If you’d like to learn knitting, crochet or other needle craft, teachers will be available; if possible, let us know ahead of time so we can arrange for supplies.
